In celebration of Suikodens 20th anniversary this year, we would like to encourage the whole Suiko fandom to do something special to celebrate the series! Here’s a good example: Just recently, several members of Suicon Philippines met together to play a Suikoden-ized version of Dungeons and Dragons (a tabletop RPG). Through the tireless efforts of the Dungeon Master and Lore Master, a scenario set within the time frame of Suikoden 2 was created. This side story was played by Jamie (playing Viktor), Therese (Zamza), Ally (Camus), Niccolo (Hai Yo), Cedric (Hix), and Erjo (Luc), with Fidelis acting as Lore Master and Louie as Dungeon Master. Through the anything-goes system of the DnD games, the players were able to do a cook-off for Culgan and Seed, sneak into the Sindar Ruins, use spells such as Cure Wounds Cobbler and Burning Hands, meet up with two familiar faces, and fight-off a very powerful True Rune. Needless to say, it was an awesome time that everyone wanted more of. Many thanks to Fidelis and Louie for giving the players such a wonderful experience!
