In collaboration with the California Department of Veterans Affairs and the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, the California Research Bureau is conducting a survey of women veterans to assess their needs and to make policy and service improvement. Currently, a complete contact list of all 185,000 women veterans in California does not exist. To ensure that the results of the survey accurately reflect the California women veteran population, they need to reach as many women veterans of all eras, backgrounds and experiences as possible.
