In commemoration of this years World Polio Day, a number of activities have been lined up to herald this once in a year event. This Monday, a Polio Exhibition was held and continues until tomorrow at the Shehu Musa YarAdua centre in Abuja. Yesterday, a fully funded Differently Able POLIO COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT programme rounded off at the Barn Hill Resort in Awka, Anambra state where wheelchairs and crutches were handed to polio survivors. The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation is committed to seeing that polio is eradicated in Nigeria and so continues to commit both financial and moral support to the polio cause. Updates from the Awka event will be available here soon. We are this close to ending Polio!
