The Sunshine To Hold District Wise Events, Mr KASHMIR In September Srinagar, June 18: All J&K Amateur Bodybuilding Association on Tuesday released the calendar of competitions for the year 2013. In a statement here a spokesman of the Association said: "The body building sport is facing slump for the past few years as no events and competitions were held. Now with an endeavor to uplift the sport of bodybuilding and encourage Kashmir based bodybuilders to achieve new heights in the sport the Amateur Bodybuilding Association is planning to conduct a calendar of competitions across Kashmir." He said competitions would held in all districts to generate interest, develop awareness and promote this healthy sport. "The first competition among the series of competitions i.e. Mr SRINAGAR 2013, would be held on June 2, 2013 for which the weighing will be held on June 22, 2013 from 10:30am onwards at Srinagar Indoor Stadium Sports Complex here. The competition will be supported by makeover Gym,J&K Bank, Chinar group, Baba Reshi Tansport, Saifco Cements, Greater Kashmir and 92.7 Big FM," the spokesman said. "After conducting the competitions across different districts the association has scheduled a mega bodybuilding competition i.e. Mr. KASHMIR 2013, in last week of September 2013 where in renowned bodybuilders from national and international levels will be invited for judging and providing handholding to the Valley based bodybuilders for taking up bodybuilding to national and international levels," he added
