In defense of its carnivore killing, Wildlife Services - TopicsExpress

In defense of its carnivore killing, Wildlife Services spokesperson states vaguely that wolves are killed to lessen the negative impacts of expanding wolf populations, even though those populations are still recovering from earlier government programs that aimed to exterminate them. Note: Wildlife Services, aka the killing agency, is not the same agency as The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the agency responsible for endangered species, although USFWS does use Wildlife Services to trap or kill animals they consider a problem, such as wolves who have been blamed for livestock losses.
