In democracy every partaker is supposed to go through legitimate process before a (religious) practice become a national, state or LG standard. To leave what SOME described as GMBs support for sharia hanging as if it automatically become a law as soon as he is elected is preposterous IMHO! If GMB or any of his numerous supporters assumed that, then a rude awakening awaits them if/when elected! Whereas every Muslim is expected to support Sharia, NOT ALL WANT SHARIA! I AM CONVINCED THAT THE ONES DINING WITH THE PRESENT CORRUPTION WILL PREFER THE FORGIVENESS ROUTE INSTEAD OF FACING SHARIA! JUST LIKE MOST PEOPLE WILL RESIST SWEARING WITH IRON FOR OBVIOUS REASONS! It will be nice to see how a proposal to the national assembly to that effect will fair but it appear we prefer settling stuffs like that in our inherent undemocratic way! Furthermore, the reality on ground is that a Muslim Fashola in Lagos is the one that dared to prevent his sisters from WEARING HIJAB IN SCHOOLS! Whereas Christians may want to shout Alleluia and Muslim Subhanallah while the traditional worshiper look in amazement, THE CASE IS STILL RECEIVING ATTENTION IN COURT! Methink it should not be WE AGAINST THEM AND A GOOD IDEA OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OUR RELIGIOUS LIVES NEED TO BE DEVELOPED! A SITUATION WHERE WE SAID THE COUNTRY IS SECULAR AND YET SHE SPENDS A LARGE SUM OF MONEY SPONSORING RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ON PILGRIMAGE IS UNHEALTHY! AS U READ THIS, JONATHAN, AYO ORITSAJAFOR ET ALL ARE IN ISRAEL ON PILGRIMAGE! LEAVE GMB TO AT LEAST GET THE PARTY NOMINATION FIRST, WE CAN BRING THE LONG KNIVES DURING THE CONTEST!
