In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (I Thessalonians 5:18) Notice Paul didnt say, FOR everything give thanks... But he said, IN everything... IN every situation and circumstance that comes in our lives, whether good or bad, we need to give God thanks! IN every disappointing time that comes our way, we need to give God thanks and praise! IN every heartache that we face, we need to give the Lord thanks! IN every trial and battle that comes in our life, we need to give God thanks! IN every valley that we go through, He deserves all thanks! IN every loss that we face, He is STILL worthy! It its so easy to be thankful for what we have, and when things are going our way. But when its another thing to just be thankful in the hard times and to just trust and know that God wants our best interest in our lives! That He look down heaven and sees the whole entire situation! God help me to have a more thankful spirit an attitude!
