In fact it was completely a barren day to our venture to find out my fav Alcedo Athis, The Common Kingfisher. Actually the month December to March is the perfect time to make photo of them, yet were trying to trace them. We found but the little naughty totally hammered our planning, flying here and there giving no shots at all. Fortunately the stick to mentality provides the result as it stops to take some rest. The shot is taken from the upper portion of the bird, lying on mud. The background was the water of the pond with the dazzle of sun lights as it looks amid the focus light. The passerby just think that we become mad as we are lying on muddy bed without purpose.
