In generations past, our moral compass was instilled by a loving parent, with a switch and responsibility. It taught basic ideals like the value of work, understanding of punishment, and the truth that we reap what we sow. It taught us that respect was first given because it was demanded, not earned. And that it was only removed AFTER it was proven to have been misplaced. And we were able to glimpse a veiw of what it is to love a mate for life, and as a child, experience the security of being in the middle of that relationship. As a child, we learned what it meant to live a full and fulfilled life as a family unit with God in the center of it. Today, not so much out there to learn from.......
