In high school a Tongan friend asked if I would fill in for a player that had been injured. I was skinny and fast (hard to believe now). When I said I didnt know how to play rugby he said its just like foot ball but you can only pass the ball behind you. Holy Killer Freight Trains Batman!!! To this day I have no idea how I am alive. Youd think large Tongan men would be slow and cumbersome... Not so, at least not when they look at rugby as akin to hand to hand combat. I played and coached soccer as well. Ive always hated the professional soccer team members that roll around on the ground pretending theyre hurt. The teams I was on never did this. We played to win not to fake a hang nail
