In his talk DECISIONS FOR ETERNITY, Elder Russell M Nelson in the October 2013 general conference gave some interesting truths. May I mention three: 1. He stated we should love God with all our hearts, evens more than our earthly parents as stated in Matthew 10:37. To me that means if our earthly parents tell us to do something different than does God, our path is set to obey God first. See also Hebrews 12:9 2. The aging process is a gift from God, as is death. 3. He mentions governments are heavily influenced by man to change the laws of marriage. Regardless of what civil legislation may enact, the doctrine of The Lord regarding marriage and morality cannot be changed. REMEMBER sin if legalized by man, is still sin in the eyes of God. Gods way is chastity before marriage and total fidelity within marriage
