In honor of “Breast Cancer Awareness” month kicking off - TopicsExpress

In honor of “Breast Cancer Awareness” month kicking off tomorrow, we would like to share a very special video with you… JKBC "Three Words" tinyurl/JKBCthreewords About this video: Three words -- "You have cancer" -- send twelve women on a journey they never anticipated. Their stories are all different, yet the same: shock, fear, suffering, and the relief of coming out on the other side. Each story is different; each story is the same. What it is like to be diagnosed with breast cancer is told with candor and emotional honesty. Of greater importance, however, is the homage all the women and the husband of one of the women pay to the Joan Katz Breast Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the center that was the touchstone for all of them. A wellspring of empowerment, comfort, education, and courage, the Joan Katz Breast Center has no equal in its loving care of women on the most harrowing journey of their lives. The Joan Katz Breast Center offers comprehensive, compassionate services on one campus, for those newly diagnosed, in the midst of treatment or living as a survivor with breast, gynecological & other cancers in Tarrant County and surrounding areas. Our specialists offer coordinated cancer care to better serve women and men, regardless of hospital preference or geographic location. The navigation programs and non-medical services are 100% FUNDED by philanthropic gifts and offered at NO CHARGE to patients.
