In leadership, ethics is the foundation that great leaders build on. If you have dreams of inspiring others and the desire to be a leader in your field, the inaugural Pueblo Ethics Conference can help get you there. The President’s Leadership Program at Colorado State University-Pueblo, in conjunction with the Center for American Values, is putting on the inaugural Pueblo Ethics Conference for Emerging Leaders. The conference will include speakers, leadership panel discussions, networking, and lunch. The conference will be held on February 6, 2015 from 8:30am-4:30pm at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center. The conference is open for high school seniors up to anyone who considers themselves an emerging leader. There will be panel discussions to talk about ethics in various situations with proven leaders in the community. Along with strengthening your ethical foundation it is a great chance to network with members of the community. The conference is highlighted by key note speaker Catharyn A. Baird, J.D., the CEO and Founder of EthicsGame® and Professor of Business, Regis University. Mrs. Baird’s EthicsGame product has been integrated in over 250 campuses worldwide, allowing colleges and universities to seamlessly weave ethics into their curriculum. Other speakers include Matt Carpenter and Dr. Jon O’Conner. Matt Carpenter is Senior Vice President of Grants at El Pomar Foundation, a foundation that makes grants to nonprofit organizations in the state of Colorado. They support the objectives of developing leaders and strengthening communities. Dr. John O’Conner is the Honor’s Program Director and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Register now! puebloethics.wix/ethicsconference#!about/cee5
