In less than 24 hours Gaidam in Yobe state was attacked, Dukku park in Gombe and Bauchi Central market were bombed. Rest in peace victims of failed leadership! It is our responsibility to educate our teeming population on the need to be security concsious at all times and report any suspicious persons to appropriate authorities. Our safety and well being is supposed to be a collective effort. Enlightenment campaign should also be made and people be made to understand that the essence of Government is to provide security to the citizens as enhrined in the constitution. Failure to do so, the government has lost its legitimacy. We must shout and raise our voices so that enough will be enough. This sorry-state that we found ourselves in must be brought to a halt.
