In less than 4 hours time there will a memorial service for my Dad. I wish with my whole heart that I could be there for the final goodbye and to support my loved ones, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work out that way. Today they will be saying goodbye to my Hero. My Dad used to spoil me rotten, with all the love and care, I knew it was coming but are we ever ready to say goodbye? I bet God is with my Daddy, wrapped up in His arms sheltered from all illness and sorrow, keeping him from harm. “We will be thinking of you with love today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We will still speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame.
