In life we are given marvels, in which they see us through times of struggle, defeat, prosperity, growth, recognition...even points where we see ourselves truly for ourselves for the very first time. Leanna three years ago on this day I saw myself ultimately through your eyes. For such a small person youve impacted my entire world for I never had actual meaning until you. all of the highs and lows, repetitive questions, and unknown journey has all suddenly made sense knowing I get to see my struggle reflect into love towards you. Its so funny the instinct you develop as a mom, reaching over your child to protect them in any means necessary is first nature. I couldnt even sum into words how blessed I am to have you and completely enjoy every single moment of you. Theres nothing in this world that compares to seeing you learn and love and appreciate, teaching me as well the things Ive never understood myself. Giving me life again and a chance to enjoy the things Ive forgotten how to. I wouldnt give up, not a blink of you, not a breath. And when were apart I catch myself laughing at the thought of the things we do and the messes we make and the moments we create. Even when my eyes are blood shot and Ive finally got you to sleep, I watch you and smile and fall in love again. Your my heart And the very reason it beats, you broke my solid exterior and made me human. Im grateful. It will always be us, and our team and every day ahead is right because well always be together. Happy birthday my girl.
