In light of all the recent tragedies and conflicts unfolding around the globe, I think we can all agree that the world needs as much kindness as we can possibly generate at this moment..... We must be the vehicles of that kindness, and no longer wait for others to make it happen. So... I am participating in this Pay it Forward initiative: the first five people who comment on this status with Im in will receive a surprise from me at some point during this calendar year. This will be a gift from the heart. It may be anything.. a book, a ticket, something home-made or home-grown, a meal, a postcard, a dance..... if you are truly unlucky.. a song. ;) There will be no warning and it will happen when the mood comes over me and I find something that I believe would suit you and make you happy. These five people must make the same offer on their Facebook status. Once my first five have commented Im in I will forward this message to put on your status. (Dont share it) so we can form a web of compassion, kindness and gratitude. Lets do this. Lets do many, many more kind and loving things in 2014 - for ourselves, for the ones we love, and for total strangers - without any reason other than to make each other smile and show that we are in one anothers hearts. Heres to a more compassionate, love-filled year....
