In may many conversations, I have been ask what Jesus would - TopicsExpress

In may many conversations, I have been ask what Jesus would do......example with the illegals crossing the border. A relative posted this which I think sums it up. Thanks Pat. Yes, Jesus did tell us to love others as we love ourselves but he told us to love God with all our heart, soul mind and strength first. Yes, he did tell us not to judge but there are different types of judgement. One type of judgement is what we do when we think we are better than others or compare what we have with what someone else has, that judgement is wrong! Another type of judging is when we compare what someone is doing to the truth of Scripture and agree with what Scripture says about them rather than what society says or what we think. That would be loving God first! Jesus says, Ye shall know them by their fruits. We must look at the truth of Scripture and have righteous judgment. We are to love God first! Loving God first means agreeing with his word and obeying it. We are to speak the truth in Love but so few people, including Christians, know Biblical truth these days. We have such a tendency to accept what society says or what is dictated by our culture that the lines have become blurred or non existent. Proverbs 3: 5-6 warns us not to lean on our own understanding. On judgment day everyone will see that Gods word is true and it is reality but then it will be too late to do anything diffe
