In more rescue news this poor little girl needs some well wishes. She is part of the litter of four Angies fostering for Forever Home Cat Rescue. Our best guess is shes been mauled by another animal. The wound on her neck sloughed over the weekend and it was decided that in spite of her young age her best option was to anesthetize her flush it well, trim everything and then suture it close. Thank fully she came through the surgery just fine and is recovering with her siblings. She has some emotional trauma to work through but medically she should do well. She also has a scarring on her nose and one her foot...oh the horror story we are sure she could tell....she needs a special name dont you think?
