In moving forward with the times, the WNA has implemented through SANA, Child Safe Environments. I am True Blues Child Safety Officer and True Blue are strong in its commitment to ensuring a child safe environment. True Blue are working on its own Clubs policy in regards to child safe environment. All children have a right to a child safe environment, therefore if anyone has any issues they need to discuss please contact me asap, or Kerri Morgan our President, in order that we can deal with the issues. We have coaches, umpires, and players that are juniors. No abuse towards our children will be tolerated at our club, so if someone on the sideline is yelling out abuse etc, you need to contact me or Kerri immediately. Or even if you are concerned about a child, please contact us. Unfortunately I am unable to be at netball for the 10.30 round, but Kerri is always there! I am there from 12pm til 5pm. For those who dont know who I am, I will be at the umpires room this Saturday at 12 noon to introduce myself. Any questions / comments, dont hesitate to ask me, can inbox if you would like to keep it private. Lets all make netball a positive, safe place for children to be. Cheers, Steff
