In my comic Diapered Demon Slayer, the reason why I chose my main character Summer to fight demons and monsters is because Im a huge fan of sci-fi/monster movies like Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong, The Creature From The Black Lagoon, Alien, Predator, Alien Vs. Predator, etc. Furthermore, I feel like the whole zombie apocalypse angle is so overused to a point where it doesnt feel original anymore. Plus I find monsters to be more interesting than zombies.
