In my excitement with the elation of yesterdays events it appears - TopicsExpress

In my excitement with the elation of yesterdays events it appears I completely overlooked the sadness of others. As with Christmas and other major events, these times bring back the the loss suffered by many who for numerous reasons are unable to enjoy the company of many who are near and dear. To all the dads who were separated from their offspring yesterday, I genuinely share your anguish and hope and pray that your situations will soon be resolved. To any dads who have lost their offspring, I trust you will draw comfort from the happy memories of past occasions. Attended the Cancer Council monthly meeting at Milroy House this morning and it was good to catch up with old friends, having missed last months meeting through my hospitalisation. Contrary to popular belief, its a very uplifting and enlightening gathering, spent with several likeminded people, carers & sufferers who discuss day to day problems, have a laugh and a joke and for those who are able to partake, morning tea. Returned via Garden City to enable the War Office to lodge claims with MediBank for blood tests carried out during my recent stay in Fremantle hospital. The Boss had lunch at the food hall at my insistence as time was marching on, then called in at Kardinya to see Robyn before returning home. So completely fatigued from yesterdays events, I had completely forgotten to read the Sunday Times, with two papers to read and a nap to be had, inevitably tonights post is delayed, but now complete so Goodnight from us.
