In my humble or not-so-humble opinion - the top 3 Republican candidates for president should be Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Trey Gowdy (president, vice president, secretary of state) not necessarily in that order. I am NOT a Republican but rather an Independent. We dont need any of those worn out, brain dead old establishment republicans in any position of government any more BUT they are there now, so we have to live with them AND the same goes for the Democrats, shit Phewj-losi, Hairy reid etc. Between the whole lot of them there is no soul, no fight, no fresh ideas and no desire to SOLVE Americas fiscal problems, WHICH, if solved, would solve all the other problems, restore the full strength of our military, thus restore our impact on the rest of the world. Over the last 30 years, our pathetic leaders have let our country go to ruin - just take a look at how horribly run down Detroit is and you should be able to see that the whole of American is just as run down and ruined because of irresponsible leaders from the President on down to the local governments. We need someone in the office of the President who can kick ass and take names. Any one of the three at the top of this entry can do just that AND I personally believe that Trey Gowdy is just the right guy to do the ass kicking. Oh, and yes, he believes in the Constitution of the United States. Yes, Obama studied the Constitution but not with the intent of some day becoming the President and enforcing it, rather he studied with the full intent to destroy it, looking for anything and everything that he could us to circumvent the Constitution and become a dictator by proxy if not in fact.
