In my line of work we do whats called a gaps analysis for our leaders. This is a questionnaire you would fill out about yourself with rankings of 1-5 (5 being totally agree). These questions ask how do you come across to people, are you open minded, do you actively listen, and maybe a can people count on you? The same questions are given to your friends, coworkers, family and your boss. Do you think your ranking would match what others think of you? My point is your view of the world may not always be the true world. Be open to opposing views, actively listen to people who offer to spend time with you and be comfortable in the fact that you are not perfect. See ya!
