In my opinion we should be addressing the government’s spending crisis. It took 220 years to accumulate a debt of $10-trillion and yet this President is going to add another $10-trillion during his 8 years in office. Tonight, during his State of the Union, I’d prefer the President have told us how to pay for the government we already have, not how to grow a government we already can’t afford. President Obama also talked tonight about ending political gamesmanship, but this is the same President who has already declared he will govern by a pen and a phone, and a President who just two months ago acted by executive order on immigration despite declaring 20 times that he lacked the Constitutional authority to do so. So, sadly, his statements tonight just aren’t supported by his actions.
