In my speech at the United Nations General Assembly, I called upon the world, especially Muslim nations, to reject extremism and embrace the concept of moderation in dealing with conflicts. Muslims must be firm in standing against extremists who use religion to commit violence for their own goals. I also urged all nations to give our efforts and focus in resolving political conflicts in the Muslim world, starting with Syria. We must strive to preserve global peace, harmony and prosperity.
