In my time at Disney some places I enjoyed working, and others....wellll. Lol I was not a huge fan of working at the Reception Center Front Desk at the LBV Villas. (Snoozzze) Nothing was worse than looking forward to your Contemporary front desk shifts for the week, only to arrive to find out you were on loan to the Village for the week, and before you had a chance to blink you were wearing blue trousers with a seagull on your chest. Your paycheck was guaranteed to be messed up because of some weird arrangement that the village people were not part of the rest of Disney, which to this day I have not quite yet figured out. The ONLY BONUS was the fact from clock out time to the bar at the Kook or Giraffe Lounges was literally minutes. Many times I was still on walk time sipping my first Beer and enjoying the Happy Hour buffet. Why this popped into my memory today, who knows?
