In need of a spiritual cleaning? I was cleaning the church with mom the other day and I was cleaning the sanctuary in the chorus area to be exact and normally when Im cleaning thats when God and I have our time together I can hear him so plain anyways he told me his Gods house needed to be cleaned I was like Lord What ya think we doing? God told me not just physical but spiritually as well..it wasnt until last night studying the word of God that he wasnt just talking about the church house but we as his temple his vessel his house were he lives in us needs to be cleaned. I started reading about ways to clean up our vessels 1.)clean out the pride and replace it with humility psalm 25:9 and in James 4:6 2.)clean out anger and replace it with self control Proverbs 29:22 and Galatians 5:22-23 3.) Clean out unbelief and replace it with faith Hebrew 3:12-13 4.) Clean out revenge and replace it with forgiveness Romans 12:17-19 1peter 3:9 5.)clean out complaining and replace it with praise Philippians 2:14 and Hebrews 13:15-16 6.)clean out wicked thoughts and replace it with pure thoughts Mathew 15:18-19 and Philippians 4:8 7.)clean out gossip and replace it with encouragement Proverbs 26:20 Ephesians 4:29-32 THE MEANING OF CLEAN IS FREE FROM EXTRANEOUS MATTER...YEA WOW....EXTRANEOUS AND THATS WHAT SIN IS TO ME EXTRANEOUS . Theres a verse in a poem that I love cant right the whole thing but it says last week I threw out worrying , It was getting old and in the way. It kept me from being me; I couldnt do things Gods way. I threw out those inhibitions; they were just crowding me out. Made room for new growth, Got rid of my old dreams and doubts. In Mathew 21:12-14 it says and thus Christ cleansed the temple the second time God said return to me and I will heal thy backsliding nothing is too difficult for the Savior when the hearts of his people are true sanctuaries we may confidently expect healing when nothing of evil has been permitted to linger within the temple of God. Reading this made me think were r sanctuaries (temples ) and we need to be cleaned y would Jesus want to stay somewhere were its filth and dark he wants to stay in cleanliness and in light bright and shiny and he is wanting to help us clean up our mess he wants to do a restoration that the finest decorator and contractor can not touch.. I want to be that clean sanctuary for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..is your temple clean or do u need help from the Lord to clean it up..? Hes better thank Amandas cleaning service for sure..lol.. love yall...God Bless
