In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested several leaders and activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front during a raid on the party office in Srinagar. According to Media sources, police arrested Rafiq Ahmad War, Abdul Rashid Mangoo, Nisar Jeelani, who are district presidents of Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipore respectively. Two senior activists Ghulam Qadir Khan and Abdul Gaffar were also taken into custody during a raid on the party office at Bohri Kadal in Srinagar, JKLF spokesman said. The JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik, expressing serious concern over the arrests and raid on party office said that the action was taken to curb political activities of the party workers.
