In one hour we will enter a month that holds great value to our family. A month that has been set aside to honor, remember and make people aware of the tons of kids who are fighting, have fought, and sadly lost in the battle called childhood cancer. If daily reminders about this battle make you uncomfortable, you are just going to have to hide me or temporarily unfriend me because I cannot stay silent. My daughter won but she is only 1 of a very few that we know if that had her type of cancer and survived. In fact we only know of 2 others! Now that she is old enough, she is very aware that people need to know about the gold ribbon, and she is glad to tell you about it too!
