In one sentence, please list what is most important to you in regards to our insurance options for next year (for example: choice, affordability, co-pays, larger network coverage, etc.). We will be compiling this information and sharing it with DCH very soon. The Dept. of Community Health will be actively looking at options this summer in regards to our 2015 benefits choices. We need them to know what is MOST important to us, and share that message with them during this critical planning period. WE are more important than a taxpayer savings (we are taxpayers, too!). WE have faithfully contributed into a benefit plan that has been used as a piggy bank by the state, and were then told that were too expensive to insure. NO MORE! WE have upheld our end of the bargain by paying in to a state-sunk ship, and the state needs to do the same. WE MATTER. Teachers, state employees (and retirees!) dedicate(d) their lives to making Georgia better, and we deserve to be able to take care of our own families while serving others.
