In one week I will be moving from independent living at Crestwood Village to assisted living. I must admit that I fought this for a long time, buit finally realized that there are things I cannot do for myself. I feel it is important to let everyone know that it has been my children who have made this possible, mostly my daughters Donna, Tami and Lenora. But it has been Donna who understood the red tape and the process with the VA to get me qualified for a military pension, one I am entitled to since I was on active duty during the Korean War era. She took over, got all the paperwork done so therefore on the 14th of this month I sign the lease on assisted living and physically move the weekend of the 16th. Thanks to all my children, my girls but mostly Donna. I love you all.
