In online marketing, it is great to have a list to market to. However, a great amount of people on most lists will not respond to every offer or incentive being offered. The trick is to be consistent and keep communicating with people. Some people actually only buy or respond after years of being on a list so continuous communication is critical. People on email lists like to see excitement, so the best thing to do is share it. Marketers need to stop overlooking the effect of something that they might see as simple. They need to be sharing with their list when they get new leads, when they sponsor a new member, when they make more money, when something touches them from a meeting with other members, when they reach a new rank or level. They should share even when they learn some valuable life lesson that isn’t marketing related. The aim is to show who they are with others and others will be attracted. Another thing that impacts a list are the touching, inspiring personal experiences of the team that the marketer is a part of whether they are downline, upline or crossline. Some people will willingly share their experiences on a Facebook or Skype group. These can be copied with the permission of the individuals and shared with the email list. It is also valuable to shadow the actions of the upline. A marketer will most likely be on his upline’s list and as a result he or she will be able to see what the upline is sharing. Certain things can be copied from the upline’s email, pasted and sent out to the list. Other things would have to be edited and tailored to the personality and experience of the marketer. Following what the upline does is a great idea because they are quite often more successful and experienced and know what to do to grow a list. These techniques can really make a list more responsive and loyal.
