In order to appreciate the presence of unconditional Spirit we must first be spiritually un-conditioned. We must come back to the heart of worship and praise. We dont know what to genuinely and uniquely do anymore when we are alone, like when the music fades and all is stripped away. We dont know how to bring more than a song. The poet MissTerious Janette...ikz put it best. We think we are not in His presence because weve equated the Holy Spirit with an organ and goosebumps. As though He is not present within us and reduced to something to be caught but see Ive never been good at playing catch. Some of us dont even know how to sincerely worship or praise because we are being told what to do. So we cant tell the difference and emotionalism has been add and God has been subtracted, like whats the difference? Were being told that if we praise God loud enough like weve lost our mind then he will hear and answer our prayers because when the praises go up blessings come down.But, wouldnt that make his unconditional love a condition? We are being told to take 10 seconds and give God our best praise!, come on you can do better than that!, you better get on your feet, if you want it now you better shout now!. But, whoever said that praising and worshiping God meant that we were obligated to be loud? What about the tears of worship that scream louder than sounding brass section getting ready to cue the clanging symbols. #ImSorryForTheThingIveMadeIt
