In order to try and educate myself about the voter ID law that is an issue in Wisconsin, I have tried unsuccessfully to obtain the history of cases of ID fraud. I have checked with several state senators and asked for the number of ID fraud and so far I have not received this information. How can anyone understand this issue without this basic information? Do our politicians vote on bills with out even this basic information? Second hand information and conjecture is easily found but actual facts are hard to come by. Are we enacting laws that cover hypothetical problems? I think that would be just a little silly and not cost effective.
