In other news, I ordered a dehydrator. LOVE jerky, but at like $20/lb from the store, I thought I could do better. I should be getting this in a few days ...the Walmart model was cheaper, but, this had more trays, more accessories, digital temp control, etc, so went for it. Also ordered a Nesco BJX-8 Jumbo Jerky Works Kit with it -- I guess you make Slim Jim type jerky with it... will give that a shot, too. Any advice?
