In other news, I was summoned to the mall yesterday, urgently, as it was reported by the nanny to the husband that Madeleine had hurt herself and was hysterical.. I raced over, found her indeed crying hysterically, but it was not a physical injury but rather severe heartbreak over not being allowed to buy the toy she HAD TO HAVE OR WOULD DIE ON THE SPOT. So, curse of the busy working mother who must sometimes make bad decisions in order to get back to conference calls, we are now the proud owner of the LalaLoopsy Magic Charm Diaper set. Which is, essentlally, a $50 gadget that has a doll pooping out charms.
