In other to dismissed the claimed of mischief makers that Gen. Buhari is a religious fanatic, Pastor Tunde Bakare proclaimed that Buhari is a liberal Muslims. As Im typing this, its difficult for me, as a Muslim, to determine which title is more of an insult. Its unfortunate our Christian folks have refused to understand how the average Muslim sees things. Calling a Muslim liberal is an insult beyond estimation and its just as bad as calling him a fanatic or an extremist. Those considered to be bad Muslims are fanatics and liberals because the represent two opposing extreme. Islam is a religion that teaches Muslims to maintain a middle cause in all his affairs. A good Muslim is patient and thus would not fall into excesses like our brothers who have taken up arms against the Nigeria state. A good Muslim is dutiful to his Creator and thus observe the fundamental principles of his religion unlike the liberals. Call me a fundamentalist because I strive to abide to the fundamentals of my religion. Call me an Islamist because I believe in the Laws of Allah (Sharia) and my whole been is dedicated to its enthronement. But dont call me a liberal or an extremist except you want to insult me.
