In our continued celebration of National Family Week, Crisis Response Therapist Trisha McArthur shares: My family is strong, because we keep Christ at the center of our lives. My husband and I have been married 17 years and we have two fantastic children ages 14 and 11. (Both have the exact same birthday’s exactly three years apart. God’s plan not our own). By keeping our faith in the forefront of our minds, hearts and lives we are able to remember that the world does not revolve around us and that we are here to love and serve others as Christ did for us. Although our life is not perfect and we have had many trials over the years as every family does, our faith reminds us that we are not alone and that through God all things are possible. He can and does use every experience in our lives (even the difficult ones) for good if we allow him this opportunity. My family understands that all of us are broken in some way and in need of help and grace. God puts people in our lives and puts us in other people’s lives in order to walk along side each other on this journey called life.
