In partnership with AIIA NSW, the Walkley Foundation, the Australia-Korea Foundation, and the Korea Press Foundation present a lively discussion about what Australian journalists – and Australia – can learn from one of the world’s fastest growing economies, South Korea. Two ABC journalists, business reporter Michael Janda and ABC News 24 producer Alexandra Lee, will have just returned from an exchange organised by the Foundation. They’ll share their insights from meeting with government officials; research institutes on North Korea in the Korean demilitarised zone; media organisations; and major companies, including Samsung and Hyundai. Korean food and refreshments will be served! The Australia-Korea Journalist Exchange Program is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-Korea Foundation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Event details: Tuesday, 12 November 2013 6:00 PM At The Glover Cottages, Sydney, 124 Kent Street FREE, but RSVP essential: [email protected]
