In personal health, we are taught that exercise and nutrition go hand in hand. The we don’t get fat overnight or with one trip the the endless buffet. It happens one bacon double cheeseburger with extra mayo at a time. Likewise, we get trim not by wishing, but by one well balanced colorful meal at a time. Vitamins and other supplements serve to feed us at the cellular level, picking up the slack from what may be missing from our diet. Following this same logic, we should realize that one doesnt just “do a marathon” but complete it one step at a time. We get strong and fit one push-up, one curl, one squat more than we did before. Think of it as earning compound interest from an investment in yourself.
