In preparation for the NCRA Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) skills examination and to educate students on the importance of certification, we will be offering RPR preparation speedbuilding classes for all levels on the dates listed below. The speedbuilding classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. Central during our regularly scheduled Live I-class speedbuilding classes at all speed levels. All sessions are available through Blackboard Collaborate/Elluminate. All sessions will be recorded for those that cannot attend live. WEEK OF APRIL 21: The dictation will be as follows on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 to 9:50 - Literary 10:00 to 10:50 – Q.A./Two-Voice Testimony 11:00 to 11:50 – Jury Charge WEEK OF APRIL 28: The dictation will be as follows on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 to 9:50 - Literary 10:00 to 10:50 – Q.A./Two-Voice Testimony 11:00 to 11:50 – Jury Charge/60-80 class only. On Monday, April 28, students in the 100-120, 140-160, and 180-200 jury charge classes will be taking a mock trial. These classes are offered for an intensive speedbuilding workout and instructor readback during the sessions. Students will not be asked to read back. Make sure you have plenty of paper. It will be a fantastic workout! The RPR skills certification test is Saturday, May 3, 2014. For those registered for the examination, best of luck to you!
