In recent posts and replies I have disparaged the likely field of Republican Candidates for PotUS. I believe there are some electable Republicans. I think Mitch Daniels, a conservative Republican with a solid grasp of economics, could be a good President. Im not sure why he chose not to run in 2012, as long as he wasnt avoiding some horrific scandal coming to light, he could leave his post at Purdue University and be a solid alternative to Hillary. Paul Ryan would be a better candidate than most believe, largely because he isnt as much of a bat-shit crazy disciple of Ayn Rand as we have been lead to believe. His voting record bears that out. He also has National Campaign experience after his losing turn as VP candidate for Mitt, certainly tat loss was not his fault. So in closing, if youre looking for electable candidates you can vote for instead of voting against the other candidate, and youre a Conservative Republican who isnt crazy, these are two who deserve a look. For the love of God, please dont anybody make references to Dr. Ben Carson and the Presidency of the United States in the same post ever again. He was a gifted and talented surgeon, who is too rabidly nuts to be trusted with being Surgeon General let alone President.. heck, he shouldnt be trusted with reading the Surgeon Generals warning on cigarette packages to people who dont smoke, never mind the Presidency.
