In recently concluded assembly elections, BJP has emerged as single largest party in Maharashtra and won majority of seats in Haryana. In both the states it is either going to form the government or lead it. The results are contrary to the by poll results where BJP had suffered loss in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. It also raises the question whether Modi wave is still effective? What are the reasons behind this victory? Are regional parties near to extinction? Etc.
