In response to: I have a terrible fear of rejection how can I get rid of this? By doing the opposite, by loving the place within you that is fearing rejection and unconsciously hurting. We fear rejection when there is part of ourself that feels unworthy. To no longer fear rejection, we must find the place within ourselves that believes that we can be rejected, the place that feels unworthy of Love; and give it absolute unconditional love. When we do so, this rejected aspect of ourselves grows and integrates within us in a healthy way and we are no longer able to be rejected, because we no longer believe in “rejection.” (that anyone has the power to reject us and cause suffering) The only way we could believe that someone else has the power to reject us, is if we feel deficient in some way. If we fully love ourselves and know who we are in our core; if we know that we are a manifestation of God in every aspect of our being, no one will ever have the power to reject us, in a way that invokes a fear or painful feelings. When we know who we are in our Divinity and someone does not like us, or want to do business with us, it is simply no big deal. But if we do not know our absolute Divinity and Autonomy in this world as who and what we are, we unconsciously allow others to define us. When we allow others to define us, the value of our identity is at the mercy of the people around us. If I rely on you to define me, based on your egoic lens, conditioning and life experience, I will suffer. This suffering is good though, because it points me in the direction of the aspects of myself which I do not fully love and have personally rejected. So if you reject me and I suffer, it is simply you showing me that you cannot see my beauty and that I do not know my beauty. My work is then to embrace the places within myself that I have rejected, and discover my Divinity here too. My fear of rejection has the power to make fully face the places I reject within myself and meet them with Love, and as I do these places will soon integrate into healthy aspects of my own self. Through facing my fear of rejection, I will discover my Beauty and a strength beyond fear.
