In response to comments and posts from our last post on August 11th. Thank you to every person who gave an opinion in ANY way. We are all different individuals, and we embrace those differences even when we dont necessarily agree. Keep your spirits up and thanks in advance for reading the following response: So sad indeed that instead of trying to do something about the dire straits that OUR town is in, many throw their hands in the air and say why bother. This is what happens when you are repeatedly shut down or you constantly see no results. We dont care if it didnt work before. The people that want change wont give up. The people who complain will continue. The people that have tried and failed are discouraged. The people who run this page and have spent countless hours doing, caring, trying, mediating and oh well. For nothing? Nope. For damn good reason in a damn good town. We arent giving up. There is power in numbers. If you dont like who is running the town, get yourself out and vote and change it. We vote them in, yes. We also vote them out. If you arent getting your questions answered, stand up there for your five minutes and say it again, and again, and again, and again. Dont give up. Look at this place we call home. What do we have to lose? NOTHING. Dont give up. This is a good little town we have here. There ARE people sitting on that council that do try. There ARE GOOD people here. We all have to put differences aside and work towards the same goal and that is progression for this town experiencing some horrible long term set backs. #takebackManville , people.
