In response to the Sunday article on the Columbian. As I sit here and read the article that you wrote on Sunday June 30 2013 about “B.G. seeks to a public pool”. This same vision was also attempted while Paulo Zanadamela was on B.G. city council but was later shot down by Ciraulo and his henchmen. This is a flip flopper attempt to gain the trust of the citizens of Battle Ground just for re-election. The corruption of the incumbent and this attempt to please the citizens of the city of B.G. will not work. How can anyone trust this corrupt city councilman to do what is right? His actions in the past show that he is not out there to protect the interests of the people of this city but out for his own interests. If you notice the incumbent wants to raise taxes to offset the donations, this is wrong. There are enough donors both public and private that would love to help without putting the burden on the people. The incumbent states that this pool complex will be managed by an outside source but if we can ask the help of Clark county then we can make it a truly community pool and any folks that live in Clark county will have access to this pool with this in mind bring in more people and more revenue. Also if the school district has the property that it can give to the city then there must be some kind of hidden cost to the citizens. This plagiarism from Mr. Zanadamela’s vision which Mr. Ciraulo sabotage. Mr. Ciraulo in his desperate attempt to win re-election is just another attempt to swindle the citizens. We can do better. brownforbg, facebook/brownforbg
