In response to the article I posted mentioning Goshen College earlier, Ill say this: My years spent at GC were some of the best years Ive experienced. I grew as a person and completed a degree in Communications (emphasis in Radio), which Im still using to this day...and by now have probably made back what $ was put in. So those stats pulled from the 29-33 alumni dont really apply to myself and Im sure lots of others. All $ and stats aside... GC introduced me to my best friends and a great mentor, gave me an amazing experience in the Dominican Republic during SST, and helped shape me into the person I am today. Now that being said... Goshen College isnt for everybody. College isnt for everybody. You can make a lot of $ without a degree. But life isnt all about $ and making a name...I think its more about doing something significant, for others and yourself. And thats what Goshen College taught me...Culture for Service.
