In search of fun-loving married couple to tag team as live-in “nanny”. Quarters are an 1,100 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 1 bath basement with fully private access. Move-in ready date scheduled for August 2014. Basement remodel currently being completed and will be completed prior to move-in date, so some flexibility on exact move-in is realistic Family lives on 1 acre lot in farming community of S. Chandler. LDS preferred as oldest son would like additional help understanding the experience and duties of giving charitable service as LDS missionary in the future. Couple must have after-school hours and some Saturdays available, and be focused on higher education. Duties include managing afterschool schedule and activities of 3 active older children, including driving to sports, assisting with time management training, overseeing behavior and chore charts, and modeling productive non-couch potato living by facilitating and overseeing animal care, crafts, gardening, outdoor activities and proper academic focus. Goats, chickens and dogs on site. Children perform animal care and gardening duties daily. As these are the children’s duties, skilled management and some understanding of gardening and animal care (to keep an eye out for needs) preferred. Oldest son interested in engineering and physics, and is self-teaching himself Aqua-ponics, so ability to read/learn/apply in order to help in these types of hobby interests a plus. All children are in accelerated academic course work, and some have some on-line course work, so ability to teach good time management essential. Possibility for additional wages for on-site music training for children (string instruments, voice and piano), landscaping and light handy-man work depending on skills. Family is also seeking to grow through the foster-adopt program so willingness to work with state on required background checks, fingerprint clearance etc. a must. PM if interested
