In some churches there are emotional highs and theatrics which turn off people who are looking for answers and for practical solutions to everyday life as we know it. At some point each person has to find God on a personal level for themselves but the church should be able to guide them into that place. The church must be planted only in the uncompromised word of God and be led by the Holy Spirit and not by a religious spirit. The Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit are very real but in some cases people are seeing a counterfeit spirit in operation and it is running people away from religion in many cases.
